24.9.21 What an absolutely wonderful start to the day we had today at the Macmillan Charity Breakfast. At 8.30 am the whole school and parents, brothers, sisters, and friends met on the playground to share croissants, muffins and fruit . The adults also had the opportunity to buy the jam tarts, cookies and crispy cakes the children had made, as well as some lovely cakes made by the parents and staff. The sun shone, it was a wonderful atmosphere, and we raised over £400 for Macmillan Cancer care. Thanks to all who worked so hard in preparation and to run the event.
What a beautiful, sunny start to the term for us all! Our new Reception children and our new friends in Year 1 and Year 2 have settled so well, and the school has been buzzing with excitement.
