Welcome

A warm welcome to you from us all at Hyde Heath Infant School.

Our school is an Infant School for children aged four to seven years.  We are very lucky to be situated at the centre of the picturesque village of Hyde Heath, nestled between the towns of Chesham, Amersham and Great Missenden.

As a small school, we cater for 66 children.  This allows there to be a warm atmosphere, in which we can all work and interact well together.  Our children all know each other along with every adult in school and in turn, we are able to get to know families well and offer an environment where they can become involved in school life. Working closely with parents and developing strong bonds allows a good partnership to be formed, which in turn allows us to support each child as they journey through the start of their school life.

Through our creative and inspiring values based curriculum, we encourage all children to work hard, be the best they can be and have high expectations of themselves, both in their learning and personal development.  Our aim is for all children to leave Hyde Heath as confident, happy learners who seek out challenges and aim high in all they do whilst being part of the community around them.
