Our Special Needs Coordinator is Mrs Lindsey Pisano who can be contacted on 01494 783835.

At Hyde Heath Infant School every child’s individual progress is monitored carefully. Children who are identified by school as having specific difficulties with their learning are provided with the support they need in a careful planned provision map overseen by our Special Needs Coordinator (SENCO).

We are committed to providing a quality education for all our pupils, based on equality of access, opportunity and outcomes. We aim for every child, whatever their background or their circumstances, to have the support they need.

Where a pupil is identified as having Special Educational Needs (SEN) we take action to remove barriers to learning. This SEN Support is provided by the SENCO, class teachers and teaching assistants. Parents are involved fully with their children’s development. Staff meet regularly to discuss the needs of the children and plan interventions that need to be put into place.
